MINISTRIES

Welcome to Kingdom of Heaven Kidz!

At Brookhaven Wesleyan Church, we love kids! Through KOH Kidz (KOH stands for Kingdom of Heaven), Brookhaven kids learn all about Christ and what it means to be a child of God and be part of His kingdom.

We have many options for kids through KOH. Each Sunday morning, we begin with Spiritual Formation classes for all ages (a.k.a. Sunday School) with nursery provided for those under three (there are classes for kids ages three and up). During morning worship service, we offer nursery, beginner's church (ages 3-K), and children's church for grades 1-3 and 4-6. The first week of each month is a special week called WKFM (Wesleyan Kids for Missions), when kids in grades 1-6 learn about missionaries serving overseas and how they can be missionaries right here at home. The fourth Sunday of each month is family Sunday, which allows children to sit in the sanctuary with the rest of their families during the entire worship service.

Sunday evenings are a favorite time for many Brookhaven kids, as during the school year, this hour is dedicated to KOH Kids' Choir. There are no auditions for KOH Choir except for individual roles in musicals, so we'd love to have all kids sing in this choir! Practices are every Sunday evening from 6-7 PM (during evening church), and musicals are held twice a year at the beginning of December (Christmas Musical) and at the end of April (Spring Musical).

On Wednesday nights, we also have Awana from 7-8 PM with nurseries available during Wednesday service as well (our nurseries are always staffed during every service at Brookhaven).

We hope you visit this site again soon to see the brand-new KOH Kidz pages (we'll have pages for both parents and kids!). In the meantime, if you have any further questions, please contact Pastor Matt, the director of KOH Kidz (read about Pastor Matt here).

We hope to see you soon!
