Pastor Tony Bye serves as the Lead Pastor at Brookhaven Wesleyan Church. Tony believes strongly in developing and investing in emerging leaders of all ages.  He pushes to create a vision for how the church, local and global, can find empathy, grace and care for the world around them and put this into tangible actions.  He continues to emphasize that all followers of Jesus must create connections and invest in showing others the hope and freedom that is available through Christ.  Pastor Tony feels his greatest calling is seeing lives changed. He loves to meet new people and hear their life stories.

Tony and his wife Amy have been married since 1991. Their two sons are both married to nurses, Seth is a pastor and Spencer is a math professor.  Tony spends his personal time as a sheriff chaplain, hiking, campfires, playing sports, and anything outdoors.

Tony graduated in 1995 with an undergraduate degree of Christian Ministries. He graduated in 2013 with his Master’s of Divinity and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry in Transformational Leadership.

.God lead Pastor John and his family to Brookhaven in 1998. He loves serving the Lord through his gifts of sharing Christ's love within the local church as well as globally. He is our Executive Pastor with a passion to see others learn and know God's love for themselves,. His life verse is found in Psalm 31:15, "My times are in Thy hand."

Pastor Michele oversees all ministries relating to children ages 0 through 6th grade. She also works closely with parents and the adoption/foster care group. Pastor Michele and her husband have eleven children and one grandson. Pastor Michele is passionate about prayer and equipping families to be the center for spiritual growth. She and David have been a part of the Brookhaven family since their undergraduate years at Indiana Wesleyan University. Pastor Michele has been on the pastoral staff since 2010, earned her MA in ministerial leadership in 2013 and was ordained in The Wesleyan Church that same year. Prior to that, she was a teacher for several years and earned an MED in curriculum development.

Pastor Emily Hines serves as Discipleship and First Impressions Pastor. She would love to meet you for coffee to discuss faith and theology questions! Her calling is to connect, teach, innovate, and lead. Her hobbies include reading, writing, sewing, and crocheting. Pastor Emily loves doing life and ministry alongside her husband, Pastor Dave Hines, whom she married May 2015. They have two kids! Together, they enjoy theological and biblical discussions, hiking, photography, and playing board games. Pastor Emily graduated in 2014 from Indiana Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Christian Ministry and Biblical Literature. In 2019, she earned her M.Div. from Wesley Seminary at IWU.  Pastor Emily joined the Brookhaven staff in 2015.

Pastor Yechan serves as Worship and Creative Arts Pastor at Brookhaven Wesleyan. He has a great passion for leading and discipling the congregation in Biblical, theological, and Spirit-focused worship at Brookhaven Wesleyan. He uses his musical gifts to lead in the morning worship gatherings and youth services and create media content for the church. He uses his tech knowledge to help guide the tech ministry. Pastor Yechan joined the staff in 2020. He graduated with his A.A. in Biblical Studies from Kentucky Mountain Bible College and he transferred to Indiana Wesleyan University to complete his B.A. in Worship Arts.

Pastor Joel serves as minister of Congregational Care. Pastor Joel has  discovered that God is present and powerful in every experience of life.  Pastor Joel enjoys sharing comfort and encouragement with others. He has been a member of Brookhaven since 1992 and joined the staff in 2009.
