SCRIPTURE: Matthew 21:12-17
IMAGINE: Read verse 15 again. Why do you think the teachers of the law and Chiefs priests got mad at Jesus for healing and that children were praising him? What do you think their motive is?
CONSIDER: Read verses 13-14 again how do you think this might apply to us today? What do you think Jesus would do if he walked into our church building on a Sunday or Wednesday and saw what was going on? Would our activities be pleasing to him? Why or why not?
PRAY: Today, God doesn’t dwell in a building; he dwells in us. The Bible even describes our bodies as a temple of the Holy Spirit. Is your life set apart as holy and pleasing to God? Are your heart and mind set apart as dedicated to him? Spend some time in prayer inviting Jesus to purify your life, completely, from the inside out. Invite him continually transform you, even if it means “flipping over tables” in your heart.
