Lifeline
College & Young Adult Ministry

Picture
Lifeline College Ministries is crafted to foster intellectual discussion of Biblical truth, create space to develop authentic relationships, and empower individuals to personalize their faith in Christian community. If you are post-high school, in college, or in your early 20s, then Lifeline is the place to get connected.

Lifeline is integrated into the church life of Brookhaven through discipleship, community, and service.

"Lifeline gives us a way to interact and connect with other college students with similar goals and ideas. In intentionally creating community with other students, we are choosing to grow closer to each other, and more importantly, grow closer to Christ."

- Joel Garverick, Lifeline Student

Community

Beyond the Dorm
Through Beyond the Dorm, college students have an opportunity to connect with families in the church and be “adopted” while at school. Adoptive families get together for meals and activities and can help provide a home away from home.

Second Sunday Lunch
The second Sunday of each month we gather for a meal with college students and our adoptive families. This takes place in the family center after the 11am worship gathering.

Campfires & Pudgie Pies
During the fall, we'll gather together offsite during the week for food and fellowship. Making pudgie pies over the campfire. Here, simple ingredients, bread, butter, and hot coals combine to make a variety of favorite Pudgie Pie flavors, including pizza, chili dog, and caramel apple. The conversations held around the campfire help build deep friendships between students and sponsors.

Serving

In addition to integrating into adult Discipleship Groups, community connection is available through serving with First Impressions, Food Pantry, Youth Group and Children's Ministries. College students and young adults have ample opportunity to get involved in community life at Brookhaven.
